The March 2026 ransomware attack on charger manufacturer ELECQ exposed a pattern we see across the sector: cloud security treated as an afterthought. Customer names, addresses and contact details were compromised on cloud infrastructure while the chargers themselves were unaffected. We built this checklist to help teams find the gaps before an attacker does.
