UFC

Also called ultra-fast charging

UFC is an older abbreviation for ultra-fast charging, used for very high-power EV charging.

It is not the current UK government label for a defined public-charging power band. Department for Transport statistics now use "ultra-rapid" for public charge points rated at 150 kW and above.

For specifications, state charging power in kW rather than relying on UFC, ultra-fast or ultra-rapid terminology alone.
