Electric Highway

Electric Highway is a UK charging-network brand associated with charging at motorway service areas and other major-road locations.

The network began under Ecotricity and was acquired by GRIDSERVE in 2021. It should not be used as a generic name for every motorway EV charging network.

It refers to a particular commercial network and its historical development. The term remains useful because older articles, apps and drivers still use it when referring to the UK motorway charging estate.
